Something about life in college: College kickstarted with the orientation program which is now mandatory to receive a Bachelor of engineering degree in India. My stint at two colleges before helped me have the right expectations out of PSG Tech. AICTE has to be appreciated to in initiating the orientation program in all engineering colleges. Diving into calculus the very third day at college would have done more harm that one could imagine. I got an idea of how my department computer science and engineering would be like in the orientation. There's not much senior junior interaction here as opposed to most colleges. The sessions thankfully weren't as boring as one would normally expect out of these programs. I was surprised to see me volunteering to talk at every chance presented.
